    Hi Ann:
I worked in Sweet Home, lived in Holley and later in Eugene.
Bend Oregon-such a playground it is! The views are to die for. Glad you are here. I am writing a story set in Oregon. I must look to see what you posed!

Ann-how do you go about replying? I hope I am doing this right.
    Thanks,
    Sue

    Welcome back, Ann,

Glad you are in the course. Your experience in the course will be a great help to us newbies. I love sci fi and some fantasy, especially if magic is involved. I’m looking forward to reading your work.

Ann, I look forward to writing with you. It sounds like you have a lot going on right now, but at least for me, I find that when I am busier, the only time I lose is the time I would have spent procrastinating, over-worrying and eating cookies — in other words, sometimes busier can be better! Here’s hoping that’s true for you too.

Thanks, Paloma. Maybe it is true. It sure gets me to focus, since time is precious.

    Ann,

It is so great to see your face again. I know the feeling of “the other stories” waiting. They are a niggling little bunch, aren’t they?

I lived in Montana for a year, throughout the state, camping, hiking etc. I never new the beauty. One of the few states I haven’t seen is Oregon, though I’ve been in California and the northern reaches (Siera Nevada), Seattle & Whigbey Island. I understand your passion for this and miss it very much. Do a hike for me one day. Tell me a story along the way. ;p

Great to be working with you again,
    Lee

Hello Ann! You live in my personal trifecta of nature: mountains, forests and lakes. A great idea to house healing services under one roof – all my best wishes toward your business. I love deadlines, your writing one has inspired me to set one of my own ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve got faith in your stories. Looking forward to your company in this 8-week Hayride. It’ll be crazy, but it’ll be fun.

Can’t wait to read a full and final novel you’ve written. Your edits are also so accurate, I’m sure it will be pretty sharp!

Thanks, James. I’ve got to focus so I can meet my self-imposed deadline. Got sidetracked today, doing assignment #1.

Sounds like you’re busy, Ann. But I’m really excited to have you again, and I can’t wait to see the progress you make on your novel. You’re going to kill it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks, Joe. It’s always great to have some encouragement.
In the past, this course has helped me meet other writers and become stronger in my determination to publish and my belief that I can do well in the writing world. It still hasn’t convinced me to like or use Twitter, but perhaps this time around I will change my mind. ๐Ÿ˜‰
