    Hi James!

I love that idea! We can collaborate together throughout the entire production to publication. We would need to find a good developmental editor, preferably someone who has worked with anthologies and understands the structure of each piece to the whole.

I only have concerned on timing when you mention before this course is through. I have been given a gift to work with Jon Morrow, which is intense and have several other projects in the works. I would want to give it my full attention. I know of a lot of tools for collaboration that are free that would help greatly in bringing us all closer to the 10 meter mark. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    What a fantastic idea, James!

Lee – I am glad you think it’s a good idea. I only used the end of the course as a starting point for discussion. I myself always get more dedicated with a firm deadline date to spur me on.

I definitely don’t wish to take away from your wonderful opportunity to work with Jon Morrow. I only offer this as a way to connect and collaborate and hopefully compliment the work we are all doing and help to exhibit the vast array of stories we are writing.

I am very glad you’re in. Now if we can convince a few others I think this will make for a great learning experience and hopefully give us a chance to get to know each other a little bit better.

      Thanks again for joining in.

I just saw this and think it’s a wonderful idea. I’m in. The quality of the writing in this course blows me away! I know nothing about putting together an anthology, but how difficult can it be? It’ll take a little research, that’s all. Some of the others in the course have already published short story collections and I’m sure they know the process. We could put a one paragraph bio of each of us in the book….

Hey Ann – Great to hear you are in. I know nothing about putting together an anthology either – isn’t that great!!! We’ll learn about the process together. You have a great idea – including a short bio is perfect.

Look – I believe it’s an opportunity to learn by doing and I truly believe that there are writers participating here that have things to say – (I read your Death Dreams so I know). This could be just the platform to say those things.

I am very pleased that you are in – That’s 3.

Ebony – First of all I am very glad to hear you believe in the idea and that you are in.

We haven’t had much of a chance to interact so far, but I wanted to tell you what a big fan I am of your writing. I also have been meaning to tell you for some time that I love your blog. I love the design, I love the content, when I saw it I thought “I want my web presence to look like that.” Big Fan !!

I really look forward to having an opportunity to collaborate and work together on this with you and the others. It think it’s going to be a wonderful learning experience and I know your contributions will make it successful – so thank you.

      That’s 4 !!!!

YEAH SUNNY !! I am very excited to hear that you are interested. Everyone here knows how strong a writer you are. I am very pleased that you would want to participate. So far – of all that are interested – I am probably the farthest behind in terms of Skill set, web presence, body of work, and I am very glad to have such strong writers to prop me up a little higher.

Lee also mentioned a theme – we should discuss it – I think it might be a good idea. Honestly I do not have much experience in putting an anthology together, but the great thing is this can be whatever we want it to be.

Once we have determined who is in and who is out – I think we should try to arrange a web meeting/chat/project management type of thing and start to put some ideas together. This is intended to be a group project – the crux is to encourage everyone to feel free to contribute and participate – and get to know each other along the way.

My thought was to give this a week or so to allow other members in the group to have a chance to comment – then probably after the 4th of July Holiday weekend – we start the ball rolling.

Comments? Thoughts? All views are welcome –

      Thanks again Sunny !!!

Excellent Christy – I am glad you’re on board. I was hoping that you might have caught this post and decided to participate. I felt that we had a pretty good rapport going when discussing your Twenty Seconds of Courage story and I just knew you would make a great collaborative partner to have in the project.

You’re exactly the type of person we’re looking for and I know that you will make great contributions. I am so pleased with the writers who have chosen to participate thus far because there is a pretty high level of talent that exists here.

Thanks again – You Got Your Spot!!!

Everyone: I asked Angie if she would consider doing the cover for this project. I just wanted to give other people in the Cartel group a chance to showcase their talents and Angie (if she agrees) could really add to the project by designing a book cover for us. I hope that is OK with everyone.

On the note of the project – I was hoping to set up a web meeting time for us to get together and get the ball rolling. I was looking for times sometime next week (after the July 4th weekend). I am in the Central Time Zone (U.S.)- but evenings are honestly a bit better for me.

I also wanted to get people thinking a bit on what we envision this project being (Do we want to have a theme, what might be a good theme, maybe a time frame for the project, A name for the project, things like that). Please let me know your thoughts about this and any other topics that we need to consider. I would love to hear ideas.

I am working on getting a basic web collaboration site put together for us so that we can collaborate and work according to our own individual schedules. I would also like to “Chronicle” the process so that we can all share our experiences with others about this project. I will let you all know when things are ready.

Let me know some times that work for you all.

    Thanks again everyone,

    Sincerely,

    James Lee Schmidt (J.L.S.)

I love it that you are chronicling the process – excellent idea.

I’ll think about theme. Personally, I like reading themed compilations. But am not sure if that’s the way we should go.

I like your impetus for us to think about it.

      Hi, Cartelistas. ๐Ÿ™‚

I won’t be available next Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. All other days are open.

I’m on the same wavelength as Ann: I don’t think that a theme is necessary. That this is a Story Cartel Project is enough of a unifying theme to hold our book together.

That’s just my two cents. I’m so looking forward to this!

Ebony – thanks for getting back. Like you, Wednesday is not a good night for me, and the next couple of weekends I am helping a friend build his home brewery (Homebrewers tend to be very similar writers, we are always tinkering and as soon as you finish one project – another presents itself).

I myself have next Thursday open. Are you on the West Coast with Ann. I was just trying to judge what time periods could be most convenient for all. I am not sure but I think Stephanie is in an even later time zone.

I am very glad your looking forward this. I’m pretty pumped myself. I don’t want to get to far ahead of myself on this, but I have already been thinking about who should to play me if Hollywood decides they want to turn this into a movie!!!!!!

      Thanks Ebony,

Sorry it’s taken me long to respond – been out of town teaching, and that consumes every bit of energy i have. (14 hour days!)

If Angie can’t do the cover, I’m a professional art director/illustrator/graphic designer and would be happy to. I’m glad you reached out to her, because her offer of a book cover design to all of us was so generous. Here’s my portfolio:

Margie, Thank you so much for agreeing to help – especially from a Newbie like myself. I went to look at your site and I was blown away. It means a great deal that you would volunteer to handle the layout and design of the book. I don’t have really much of an idea about what it takes to layout a book, but you obviously do and I am thankful for your direction here. In many respects, that may be the most difficult job of the entire project.

If you would agree to help us assemble the book, I promise I will help you in any way I can, even if that means staying out of your way. Whatever you require – I will try my best to make happen.

I cannot thank you enough for this gesture. It truly is appreciated.

    VOTE TIME:

    I registered the following:
http://www.thecartelcollaborative.com – I hope this doesn’t step on any toes
    http://www.thewriterscooperative.com

Sorry that I took so long to get back to everyone today, but I wanted to take the opportunity to let everyone know that big steps (I mean BIG STEPS) were taken today.

First – it seems like the name that people are favoring is THE CARTEL COLLABORATIVE. I also wish to make a small apology to Joe about the slip in proper etiquette here. It is important to always get permission, and even though Joe is very supportive, that one is on me. I’ll try be more mindful of that going forward.

Secondly – Stephanie Gonzaga has offered her services to help build our site and has already begun diving into the task. I would like very much to give a tip of the cap to her as well for giving of her time and talents. Thank you very much Stephanie.

Thirdly – I wanted to inform everyone that Joe has not only given his blessing to this endeavor (Thanks again), but on top to that he has graciously offered to pay for the domain and host the site for us as well. I would like to express my most sincere appreciation for such a generous gift.

Lastly – if any of you wish to discuss anything while we work to get the collaborative space up, I just want everyone to know I check this blog regularly ( I am also still trying to finish my lessons on using Twitter), and I am frantically trying to get my own website/blogosphere set up ASAP. Until then if any of you wish to contact me directly, my work email is jamesschmidt@bsrconsulting.net.

As this project now looks to be solidly underway – I want to also extend my thanks to each and every one of you for lending your time, talents, and most importantly your spirits to this project. I promise that I will do my very best to join along with all of you to build something that we can all be proud of.

    Thanks

    *** PROJECT UPDATE No.1 ****

My fellow Cartelistas and Collaborators. As I sit here composing this update I have just noticed that one of my dogs (who is laying on the floor about 10ft from me) appears to have trapped a small snake and is playing with it in my office. I only relay this fact because I wish to forewarn you that this update may devolve into chaos shortly. (Snakes – not my favorite)

1.) It appears that we will have either 11 or 12 people involved. I would think this is an ideal number of people to work with. That allows everyone to have a say and interact freely.

2.) I went and registered the domain http://www.thecartelcollaborative.com . Unfortunately the way I did it caused problems for Joe and Stephanie in particular (Again I am sorry about that). But I think we are getting those issues resolved and, along with guidance from Angie, we should have a space very shortly. I did put up a sample page with a logo that is merely for discussion purposes. I just kind of modified the diagram from Joe’s earlier lesson where he showed a diagram of what you want intersecting with what others are looking for. Take a look in when you have a moment and see if the logo works for you. I would love to get opinions.

3.) Stephanie Gonzaga (with guidance from Angie Mroczka) has been working diligently to design a space. Angie had brought up some good points about having an area for private discussion about the project, but to also create a public area outside that would allow other people to follow along as we go. Hopefully this might lead to other projects in the future. Comments welcome.

4.) Next it is very important to start to define the parameters of this project. I felt perhaps each of us could write a story, poem, etc. whatever people wish to showcase, with it being no longer than say 15 pages. I know that many of you are very busy at the moment – so I would like to hear what type of time frame would be comfortable for everyone to set. I was thinking final versions by the end of Labor Day weekend with perhaps a launch date of somewhere around the first part of October. Too Fast? Too Slow? Would that give everyone enough time?

5.) Finally – I would appreciate ideas on what might be an appropriate title for this anthology/story selection. Joe has done a similar book of stories called Showoff – isn’t that a great title. Just feel free to throw out some suggestions. Just let the names fly.

We are spread out over many time zones and have very different schedules, but I would also love to hear suggestions on a way that we could communicate together and yet allow people the freedom to interact as their time allows at least until there is a space in which to do so. Blog posts work great, but I do not want to abuse my welcome here at the Story Cartel – which is meant to be used for other purposes.

Again – Thanks for your participation and give a shout out for ideas. I have to get the trashcan now and attempt to rescue this poor snake before Freya does it any harm or worse lets it loose in my office.

    Thanks

    James Lee Schmidt (J.L.S.)

Hi James, I just skimmed this and it looks good to me.

As for communication, could we set up a private chat room? WordPress, if that’s what you’re using, has a plugin for that, although I don’t know how it works, or if it works well or not. – Actually, I just looked at wordpress.com and it doesn’t have chatroom capability. Perhaps we could set up something like this forum, which is open only to members?

Ann – Thanks for replying. Stephanie and I are checking out a few chat plugins, but we too are not all that familiar. There is one called Chat, another called chat room, and then there two more advanced type of WordPress site setups, one called Buddypress, and another called Studio Press. Both of those seem to have additional features that can essentially turn a part of your site into a social network where we could interact, create new topics, etc. Angie has an inside track with Studio Press, and Stephanie was exploring BuddyPress sites. Actually – I kind of stubbed our collective toe when I went ahead and registered the domain without waiting for advice from the more knowledgeable members here, so the delay is completely my fault.

If you are comfortable working within a type of site similar to the Story Cartel, that we could have a private member space and include some kind of chat room feature, then I think that is what we will try to target.

Thanks for your input and your patience Ann – Keep checking in and if you need to get in touch with me my direct email is jamesschmidt@bsrconsulting.net

      Hi James,

Thank you for all you have and are and will be putting into this project! Wow!

In response to the issues you raise on PROJECT UPDATE #1:

2 – I looked at the logo: Do you want it to look like Joe’s? If you ant something diff I can work one up for us (after I stop the majority of traveling I’m doing at the moment.) Or it can remain as is.

3 – I’m all for a private place we can chat, or a private forum with organized topics and threads, as well as a public one.

4 – Time frame: Launch date of 1st of October seems a bit fast.

When we factor in editing and the time it’ll take me to pull create the book (at least 2 full weeks – but would prefer 3), and many other things, including full time jobs. I don’t want this to be rushed.
I’d like to see us give it our all and give it our best, not rush it. I’d prefer January of 2015 as a launch date, and work backwards from there. I am flexible. Let’s definitely create a firm timeline.

You suggested 15 pages. For stories, let’s consider a word count, as pages will vary in an eBook.

      5 – I’ll be thinking about titles.

      Some thoughts I have:

EDITING and PROOFING of individual pieces
I want our level of excellence nose-bleed high.
I was think that it would be preferable if all took it upon ourselves to get our pieces proofed and read by a minimum of xx people (not sure of a number, Joe suggests 30 people). Or maybe we should all agree to read, feedback, and proof ALL the stories/pieces. I love how Joe said with 30 people giving you feedback you see the patterns, not just a few opinions. I think this is very important.

Then, I’d like to see us have TWO or maybe THREE final editors who focus on the flow of the book. We need strong pieces at the beginning and end, and we need to consider the sequence of pieces in between.

Then… Someone (or several) need to write a brief intro to the entire book.

And do we want an intro to each story/poem in the book?
If we want an intro to each piece, do we write it ourselves? Or should we use a bio as an intro?

Maybe we could each do research and weigh in about what we like. I’ve seen anthologies done in all kinds of ways. Our Editor(s) could make the final decision after hearing everyone’s opinions.

      BLOGGING on the existing FORUM
I agree we need to get away from this. I can’t follow along – the thread is one huge long disorganized thread. We need something new soon! I’m going crazy trying to locate individual responses and reply properly. In fact, I am failing.

I’m fine with communicating through a forum protocol. Trying to get us to online chat will be very difficult. Though we should probably just go for it.

Thank you James! I’m headed out camping on Thursday and won’t be around until next week.

      Sincerely,

      Margie

Comments welcome.

4.) Next it is very important to start to define the parameters of this project. I felt like if each of us could write a story, poem, etc. whatever people wish to showcase, and be no longer than say 15 pages. I know that many of you are very busy at the moment – so I would like to hear what type of time frame would be comfortable for everyone to make.

Joe has done a similar book of stories that I got on Amazon called Showoff – isn’t that a great title. Just feel free to throw out some suggestions and let’s get a title for this puppy. Just let the names fly.

We are spread out over many time zones and have very different schedules, but I would also love to hear suggestions on a way that we could communicate together and yet allow people the freedom to interact as their time allows.

      Thanks

      Margie:

Thanks so much for being here and helping out. If not for you and the others helping like you all do, I would be kind of like a rudderless boat on the ocean. I just want everyone to know how much I appreciate their efforts here.

      Now let’s get to it:

1.) The logo was designed to compliment The Story Cartel Logo, a kind of a tip of the cap to Joe for taking care of the website and everything he has done, plus I thought it just had symbolic appeal. Now – I have not heard Joe’s feelings on the matter. He may not be in favor of that logo be so close and while he has been super supportive- it may not be his intent to have his name so closely tied to it ( a coattail riding thing). I used it for a starting point. If you have time (IF YOU HAVE TIME) you might mock up some other ideas. I like it – but I am not married to it and I am open to other possibilities.

2.) I’m jumping around a bit on your list – but because it is sort of similar to the logo – I think that it is important to arrive at some sort of title for this and relatively soon. The project will only hold water so long. It would be nice for all of us to be able to see the lighthouse, even as we are pretty far from the shoreline presently. Joe’s title spoke to me – It’s catchy -it’s descriptive – and as both you and Angie have said often – I believe it is enough to hit that 8 to 10 second click mark that we are targeting.

3.) Now we get to the heart of the project. I will defer to you and others who have more publishing experience. It’s funny that you say my time frame was a bit ambitious – I told some members of my local writer’s group what we were doing with Story Cartel and a member who kind of mentors me along – his first comment was “Wow that is an ambitious time table”. I really had no idea.

As for the intro – Do you think Joe might consider writing the introduction? I mean Story Cartel is where this started. The project is a direct result of Story Cartel Course lessons. Maybe that’s pushing the limit – I don’t know – but I would at least like to give him a chance to say NO. Thoughts?

I totally agree with setting the bar very high. You have opened my eyes what is required and now I see – there is a massive process required after the initial writing process. If you think January is more suitable – than I’m behind you 100%. I know what it’s like to role out a software package before it is ready and it is almost always a big mistake. Angie talked about the importance of build up and launch plan. This needs to be done right and professionally or else its just going through the motions.

If I am hearing you correctly – Just the assembly time will take about a month to complete. How long do you think the editing will take. The reason I ask is because I am wondering what your opinion would be for a target date to have first drafts ready? Is Labor Day still a target? I would value your thoughts

About 30 readers – I may need a bit of help there. I myself probably know only about 30 writers/readers, and I only recently started working with professional editors (see earlier post for that experience). I have one question that may seem stupid, but I don’t know; how much would professional editors cost? Is this something we need to perhaps start some kind of budgeting area/fund for. I know that the editors I have worked with (not many mind you) they charged me about $3 per page. I’m not really sure how high up the “professional” ladder they are either. We can cross those bridges later, but if there is going to be some anticipated expenses (There probably will be) then this project should to have an estimated expenses list as well as a budget.

Again Margie – thanks for your input. I guess I feel like one of those people who foolishly bought a restaurant not knowing how it works exactly, and you are Gordon Ramsay who is now dropping some reality on me. That’s not a criticism BTW. I need to know exactly what the true picture is.

If you need to talk to me directly my email is jamesschmidt@bsrconsulting.net.

      Thanks Margie.

The logo is great, appealing, clean. I’m also excited to see what Stephanie and Angie have designed. The timeline works for me. Are we thinking of editing each-others work? If so we should prob allow a week or two for that to take place. Title ideas: Story Parade, The Writer’s Carnival.

Lori – First – Freya appreciates having fans. I have two Great Pyrenees dogs, but Freya is the queen of the castle ( not always a good thing BTW). I’m no animal expert, but that snake appeared so happy when I scooped it up and took it outside. It was definitely not a fan of Freya’s.

Margie – posted earlier and she opened my eyes to how the entire process works. I am not sure my time line provided enough time to do this right. Just the reading, editing, rewriting, reediting process, alone might require several weeks to complete. I myself have already started outlining my story simply because I didn’t want to get behind while I’m working on other requirements.

BTW – Twitter account is up. Don’t know if I have things right but check it out James Lee Schmidt@jamesleeschmidt (I think that is how it goes). See if you can find me. I’m already famous.

Thanks for your participation. I really appreciate it Lori

BTW – Writer’s Carnival, maybe just Carnival – That is a good title. I say we drop that one on a list of possibilities.

Carnival will probably be descriptive of the process before this is all over.

Sounds great! I’m on board with the editing process. Thirty people plus a few final editors sounds like a good plan. Also, I agree that word count is more accurate than page numbers.

As far as communication, I’ve meaning to look more into Google groups. That maybe an easy platform for communicating via forums and video chat. Does anyone have any experience with it? I’ll look into this week.

      Thanks so much, James!

I’ve used Google Groups for one of my undergrad classes. It’s okay. Not as robust as, say, the Story Cartel forums, but it does the job and it may have new features.

We can also try Google+ Communities. It combines the private and public nature of forums and collaboration, since we can set it as closed and yet accept interested people outside of our cartel to be members.

I can set one up for all of us if you’re interested. Or if everyone prefers Google Groups, we can go with that too. ๐Ÿ™‚

Ebony brings up something that I wanted to but I didn’t know how people might feel. Both my Maker’s Group and my Homebrewers Group use Google Groups. I have not used Google+ Communities that Stephanie brought up. That might be something that would work for us and I am hoping that this would be something that would grow beyond the seed group that we have created.

Will everyone use it. The groups are easy to use and I don’t think it would hurt to set one up – might broaden our reach. I am almost tempted to just try it. However, after my screw up with the domain name, I will wait a few days and get with Stephanie ( If that’s OK) before we commit to early.

Story Cartel Alumni was using Google+ community (and just recently moved over to Facebook). It works better than this forum, which gets really difficult to follow, as Margie pointed out. It would be an easy solution for communication. I’m eannstanley@gmail.com, if you want to send me an email over there or add me to your circles.

I’m really busy for the next couple of weeks, but things should calm down after that and I can do more to help out.

*I like the idea that we each read everyone else’s stories and help edit them. Maybe poets like Stephanie can have several poems. It would be fun to intersperse stories with poems to break up the flow.

*What if we had a 12,000 word limit on stories? Would that be a good number?

*When I read anthologies, I prefer if the bio is right with the story (at the end, preferably, so I can jump into the story first), so I don’t have to hunt for it and get the info about the author right away. It helps me connect more strongly to both story and author. What do others think?

*It’s also fun to have a few sentences about the inspiration for the story.

I love the ideas, I support a real good editing process. I would think we could go a round with a dozen of our own contacts then submit to the group so everyone can go over and add comments. I do think a set of outside, professional edit eyes could be invaluable- maybe we could contract one person and split the cost by however many members we have.

I like the idea of bios and a bit of history re the story with the story. I like poems dispersed through out the work. I like the idea of arranging the works with purpose.

Whichever chat we end up using will work for me, I’m sure.

Another title I’ll throw out is We’ve Got Punch. It’s a play on the saying “We’ve got cake and punch.” to entice members to a meeting. And also an allusion toward stories with heart.

Hey Cartel – We are still working on the site, but I wanted to start discussing things and get the ball moving a bit so I set up a Google+ Community called The Cartel Collaborative – Google Community. Many of you may have already received an invite, but there are some of you that do not have Google accounts or I just couldn’t find you. It is to you specifically that I am trying to address. LoriMarie and Christy, anyone else you did not receive an invite, please send me your email (jamesschmidt@bsrconsulting.net) so I can add you to the group if you are interested.

This is a private community. I hope to keep building on the Cartel Collaborative, but really only those who wish to submit work to the 2015 anthology need to get their information to me.

Again – I will continue to try to keep you all informed, but discussions can start to move from here to the Google community until the Website is ready.

    Thanks again

Hey James, sounds like a fantastic idea! I’d love to join the club, but I write poetry and they’re usually 1-2 pages long depending on how far the writing and experience can take me. Would that be all right?

If yes, let’s set a deadline for this. And if any of us are building email lists and growing subscriber numbers, this can be a really great incentive to give to visitors of our blogs and author websites.

Another idea here: what if we put it up on Amazon? ๐Ÿ˜€ Just a thought, of course. Could be fun to do!

Stephanie – Its an opportunity to collaborate and do something together as a group. That was the idea. This group is made stronger through the qualities and passions of it’s individuals. Where ever your passion lie – that’s what we’re looking for. Vijay Seshadri just won the Pulitzer for his poetry – and I find nothing lacking or less poignant in the prose just because it may be shorter in length.

Heart and Soul – That’s what we are asking for from each member – so you’re all good in my book.

I for one am glad to have you participate. Your contribution will add value and scope to the project. Welcome aboard and thanks for joining.

    Sincerely,

We are members of a Story Cartel with different stories and perspectives. That’s a good enough theme for me. I am totally fine with just allowing people to write what is in their hearts and minds. In fact – the differences might actually play to our advantage. As the legendary Martha Stewart says “It’s a good thing.”

Everyone who wants to participate is vital to the project. I am pleased as punch that Margie and Angie have also agreed to participate because we are all aware of their talents and skill set. Both Margie and Angie have helped me personally already and I know that together, along with everyone else who has signed on, we are very strong and creative group.

I will try to get some kind of meeting forum set up for next week. I am in the process of setting up a collaborative website as I know people’s schedules can vary greatly. I am also open to ideas on how we can best work as a group and still allow individuals the freedom to come and go as their time allows. Blogging posts seem to work fairly well for us but any other suggestions are appreciated. Let me know your thoughts.

Finally, I want to take just a moment to express my sincere appreciation to all of you for your enthusiasm and willingness to try this. I have never done something like this before and you always wonder how well an idea will be recieved. I spend most of my writing time hunkered down alone at my keyboard. I am very excited about the opportunity to work with all of you. You all have rich and valuable voices, and produce great stories. I am very proud to be associated with each and every one of you and again thank you very much for doing this.

So get ready! Get Set! …………….

James, I in turn am thankful that you shared this idea with the group and for your enthusiasm to make it all happen. I’ve collaborated with classmates and fellow writers before but the plans have never concretized due to lack of interest or higher priorities.

On my part, my strengths and interests lie in website building (specifically WordPress) so if you need help putting together the collaborative site, let me know and we can discuss the details during the meeting.

    Thanks!

Wordpress skills are excellent Stephanie – just the person I am looking to help me. It’s funny just because I work in I.T.doesn’t mean I do much website work. I write boring old insurance software, so when I tell people I don’t have much experience with making websites, they tend to look at me like I’m crazy. Oh I could figure it out, but why struggle with it when I know someone who already has experience in this area.

Ta da – Welcome Ms.Stephanie. I am very grateful for the offer to help me get a central place up and going. I think it will make it easier for each person to work on this when their schedules permit. I sent you an email on your website – you can use that email to contact me personally until I get my own site up and running. We can talk about this and you can help me build some kind of base of operations for this project. I already have a couple of Domains we can use if you want. Let me know your thoughts on this.

Thank you very much – I really really appreciate it.

As I’ve stated in another response that isn’t included in this feed, BuddyPress is a great plugin for community.

Lindsay Buroker (through a guest post) has a great article on publishing and marketing anthologies. Check it out here!

What a great community of writers to work with. Thank you all for your spirit and talent! So blessed to work with you.
