Michael – It is really good to hear that your surgery went well. I myself have a thing about hospitals so I do my best to stay out of them. When I separated my shoulder in March, they asked if I wanted to stay in the hospital or was I fine to go home. I was out the door before the discharge nurse had time to finish checking me out. I’m glad that the pain in your leg is gone and it sounds like you are getting around fairly well. Hang in there and drop a note when you feel better.
Hey! Lets hear it for the Schmidts!!! I happy that he handled things so perfectly. If he would have sucked – it might have reflected badly on the rest of us Schmidts. Tell him I am proud that he represented all of us so well.
You get well and take it easy.

I just noticed the Schmidt coincidence. 🙂
I didn’t mind being in the hospital, hospital care in Mexico is completely different. I was treated like royalty by everyone, all of whom, and I mean clerks, janitors, nurses, docs, everyone treated me with respect and love.
Of course that is how most Mexicans treat everyone and it is why I live here.

Wow, Michael! I can’t even believe such a thing is possible, but I’m so glad it sounds like the surgery was a success! Here’s to a smooth recovery!
