You are the rock star! I loved your story. It still floats through my mind. That’s the hallmark of a good story, and a good storyteller! Thank you for your kind words (I didn’t want anyone to cry, though ;).
I am working on your post. Inspirational it shall be!

I have a feeling, as our writing relationship grows, that we might share personal stories just between us. I send you a green scarf to wrap around your neck, for your heart. (That’s from Ebony’s story.)
You know that the quote above was from you. You have such a gentle heart and a thoughtful way of sharing and encouraging. xoxo

This is a Signature post here Lee. You really went to the core of why we are all here. You certainly managed to put things into perspective for us. Many wouldn’t have the courage to do what you have done, much less face the obstacles that you face. It means a great deal that you would share this and I thank you for it.
Stories, like this one, add meaning to our existence, both as writers or just as people. Talking about everyday life is just another facet of being a writer. Telling me about what you see, listening to me tell you about what I see – that’s the real value here. Not the writing so much really, but to know there are people listening. I’ve connected with so many great people on this site. My life is better because of what you have written. You have so much more left to tell. We are all here listening.
It’s never over, until it is over. Dylan Thomas is right beside you.
DO NOT GO GENTLE INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT! RAGE, RAGE AGAINST THE DYING OF THE LIGHT!!!!!

That means so much to me. I feel we have a great deal in common and our approaches to problems can only enlighten each of us. How do I know that? Through our words, again. How we use them, no matter what we are writing about, shows our souls, personalities like a mirror. That still amazes me.
The reflection you give off is so kind and gentle. Those qualities are so very rare. I doubt we are the ones who say, “Oh, we’ll keep in touch!” and then disappear. (What a missed opportunity.) So, with that said, once we get through this course or even during it, feel free to DM me @LeeJTyler. I’ve started reading those again now that I’m talking to an author about an interview. Or my email l.tyler21@yahoo.com. Whatever means and whenever you feel like chatting, the feeling is mutual! ;p Here is to future laughter and great conversations! ;p

Wow, Lee!
I appreciate you for the light you are to each of us even through your personal struggles. It’s my sincere wish that I can have that kind of impact on someone–anyone. If I can help you, or any of you beautiful, wonderful Cartelistas, you know where to find me.
xoxo

I read this early this morning during a particularly bad patch of pain. How is it that each person you come across through Joe’s course is so kind, strong, caring and insightful? (That includes you, of course.) Other writing groups were fun and there was so much to talk about, but this course, through Joe’s example and that indefinable factor, brings the best people into the course and the best out of them.
Thank you, Sunny!-
