Hello. I believe that my audience is mostly women who are hurting or just trying to survive in marriage and motherhood. I also write for family members who are living with someone with an addiction of some sort. I found with my first book (my only book) young moms really resonated with it the most. I also have some men website readers. My desire in my writing is that people would draw closer to God and fall in love with Jesus. I try to teach steps for a closer walk with the Lord and intertwine my personal stories along with it.
    Thanks. Brenda

Hey I know I am behind. But the reason I am taking this course is a combination of A, B and E. Most of all I would like to write stories that change lives. I would love to be in fulltime ministry with my writing and I would also love to be traditionally published. I am trying to obedient to God’s calling most all. Thanks. Brenda

    Susan,
I thought this was great. You had me right there with you. I resonated with everything in the car you did except the word for friends – lol.

You had me wondering where you were and what you were doing.

I did see one type – introduction was spelled wrong.

    Great job.

(Do you mind looking at my story? I haven’t gotten any comments yet. It’s called Up, UP and Away.
    Thanks.

    Hey Margie,
I could resonate with our story of losing a close friend. I think that is the most important thing you can do – is resonate with the reader.

I got lost a bit with the cardinal, but loved how you were sitting outside thinking about the situation. You took me there with you.

If you could shorten it a little I think that would help.

    Thanks.

    Hey Micheal,
Glad you will be going through the class at the same time. Welcome. I am still trying to figure out where to create my forum account. Where did you create yours?
    Blessings,

Thanks Michael for reading my story and sharing your take on it. I will definitely make that change. I am putting this story in a book I am writing. I wish I could say I thought of the “Oncers” but heard that in a book I read a while back and adopted it. Have a great day! Brenda

Thank you Brian for your comments on my post for Norman Vincent Peale. I am lagging behind on the course and I appreciate you taking the time to read. Yes, I have several of his books actually passed down by my dad who was a very positive man, always looking on the bright side of life.
    Have a great day!

Thanks everyone for the kind words and the advice you gave me. I have been on vacation for 2 weeks. Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. For those of you who asked, yes, this story is true. I was 24 when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It was 28 years ago. I am grateful that you read my story. I look forward to getting to know you. I am way behind now. So I have a lot of catching up to do. Have a wonderful day! Brenda
