Lee, I think you’re brave and lovely. If there is something inside of you that wants to come out then, as Joe says, “you’re entitled to share your story”. I might know what you’re referring to and it is important to feel secure. That said, at first, you’re probably not going to feel 100% comfortable sharing because you’re taking risks, putting yourself out there, opening up to people you don’t really know that well. But, in taking a chance you’re also opening yourself up to creating something important and making new friendships. I’ve heard it said if you’re uncomfortable you’re doing something right. If you’re ready I’ll definitely support you, if you’re not I’ll still support you. I’m sure most everyone here feels the same.

I’m really hoping to be a part of a community. I have photography friends and gardening friends and old friends and new friends and it would be fantastic to have writing friends. In addition, I’m stoked about platform building. As a natural introvert I tend to retreat into a shell, some guidance is going to make all the difference for me.

My writing dream is to nurture and grow a little career. I would like to blog music biography book reviews, and maybe contribute to a magazine or two. And dearest would be to write a series or several stand alone books about life and love and heartache and growth and being a teenager and making music.

I also have a historical series inside me but that’ll come later <3

Hi Sarah, Your book is important. So often I feel helpless when others experience hardship. I tend to bring a meal and offer to take over a chore and do my best to be authentic and loving. But it can be awkward and I wonder if there is something more I could offer and indeed am I doing the right thing.

It is great to meet you. I’m kinda hoping for a few pieces bout what it was like growing up in such a large family and maybe a piece or two on how you all relate now that you’re adults.

A delicate piece. Part of the charm for me is not always knowing exactly what you mean. I sometimes write that way myself, in little secrets and allusions. There are a few things that need cleaning up sentence structure and grammatically but I am not the strongest in that area and there are some in this class who are very good at editing so I will say it is a very nice piece of hints and whispers and sweetness.

Dear Lee, As I’ve toured around the introductory area I’ve come across many of your comments. You have a lovely heart and a beautiful thoughtful mind. I just know anything you create will be of rare excellence. I’ve added you to facebook and will also add you to other networks once I’ve set them up. I’m very sorry about your mother and I feel blessed to be with you this journey. xoxo

Hi Paloma, You have a lovely name. I have a soft spot for historical novels, peeks into time’s past are a treat. Do you have a favourite time period? If so what draws you to it? <3

Hi Judith! You sound so fearless and brave and sure and you embrace life’s adventures! I’m sorry about your fall but I’m not surprised you’re building something beautiful from the accident.

That’s pretty cool, Ann! I’m guessing with the flute you were folk influenced? I don’t play or sing but I dated a couple guitar players, married one, and I’ve been attending concerts on a regular basis since I was 12. It can definitely get wild but oh my gosh, it was fun. It’s a different scene now that I’m older but still great.

Susan, my mother used to call me “Little Miss Lorelei”. I would be quite interested to see how the history of “Lorelei” meshes with your char, if it does at all. Indeed! I was real lucky to be able to move my laptop to the kitchen table tonight and grab a few minutes here and there to read introductions all evening. I think I read every single one. This group is varied and interesting, everyone has something to offer. <3
